WHO IS INVOLVED IN THE "OZ THE SERIES"?

Twilight Productions, an independent studio that focuses on Film, TV, Literature and Comics is producing the series independently from Mutant Enemy, Inc.

Derek Andrew Sharp is the writer of the series.

IS JOSS APPROVING ANY OF THE MATERIAL?

Sadly, no. This is strictly fan fiction but you can consider it part of BUFFY and ANGEL continuity if you like since it does pick-up where both shows left off.

DOES THIS FIT INTO BUFFY AND ANGEL CONTINUITY?

Derek is a die-hard BUFFY and ANGEL fan expect it to be followed as tightly as possible.

WHY IS IT NOT IN SCRIPT FORMAT?

Derek had this to say: "I've been a screenwriter for 10-11 years now, when it comes to down to it you just can't explore emotion on any level. You just have the actions, so I decided to approach this from a prose format. You can just see it on so many other levels and explore the history without much effort."

ARE THERE ANY CHARACTERS FROM PREVIOUS CONTINUITY COMING INTO PLAY?

The main cast is:

Seth Green as Oz

Marc Blucas as Riley Finn

Natalie Portman as Mel Gellar

Characters from both shows will make appearences, but as to whether or not the Big Guns (Buffy, Angel, the Scoobies, and the Fang Gang) will appear is undetermined.

HOW MANY SEASONS ARE PLANNED?

Derek has mapped out Two Seasons worth.

Season One with 12 episodes.

Season Two's episode number is currently undetermined.
