DEREK ANDREW SHARP has two previous horror series to his name: HALLOWEEN THE SERIES and the short-lived UNDEAD zombie series, which only made it beyond its Pilot.

MEL GELLAR is based off of two people in name: Mel, comes from the name of a Kryptonsite Regular and Gellar is derived from BUFFY star Sarah Michelle Gellar's last name.

OZ THE SERIES has been in development in various different forms. Originally, it was just going to be purely Oz focused but has evolved to include the current cast of characters.

SLIPKNOT peforms the Opening Credits theme: "Vermillion".

The series is directly linked to the Series Finale of both BUFFY and ANGEL, even though it does pick-up years after those events.

OZ and RILEY are two of the few characters that have vanished into the background of the Buffy and Angel mythos, without being directly brought in the Finales. Both left at said points in the series, but did return to wrap their character arcs.

Of the characters, Oz has one novel to his name and a Comic Book mini-series produced by Dark Horse comics.

Riley appears in a number of the Dark Horse Comics, a few Buffy novels, but makes a stand out appearence in SEVEN CROWS with his wife, Sam.
